We manufacture solid-state electronic radiator fan controllers in two versions, each has a full year warranty.
Auto Cool II is our 40 amp version and Auto Cool is our 125 amp version.
Both use fan RPM to control your radiator temperature.
At freeway speeds the fan or fans will be close to or at zero RPM. When you stop the fan or fans will begin to spin to control your radiator temperature.
Therefore, you'll have more horsepower when the light turns green and you will save battery energy. With auto cool controllers, you can power one or more fans as long as you do not exceed the rated current.
If you intend to remove your belt driven fan install Auto Cool under the hood or under the dashboard. If you are experiencing engine overheating in your used car or truck you may have a defective fan controller.
