Position: Post Closer Location: Tustin, CA. Position Summary: Primary responsibilities include preparing real estate loans to ensure they are closed in conformance with all underwriting guidelines. Post-Closing prepares loans for booking and settlement with agencies, tracks and clears post close file exceptions. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs post audit review of secondary market loans based upon regulatory agency and investor requirements. Prepares files for other audits of secondary market loans. Disbursement of all residential mortgage loans. Booking of all in house mortgage loans. Reconciliation of all HUD/Settlement Statements with FICS. Selling and shipping loans to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae, as well as other outside investors. Mailing customer survey letters. Collateral tracking of all recorded documents and title policies. Coordinating trailing documents to outside investors Reviewing all mortgage loans for compliance following QC checklist. Real estate tax tracking orders for portfolio loans. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers Desired Competencies: Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans, and investor guidelines. Must have excellent attention to detail. Prior experience and proficiency with Loan Origination Systems and Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Good verbal and written communication skills.
