Primary patent responsibilities include assisting with the management of Broadcom's patent portfolio, working on patent acquisitions with in-house and outside counsel, engaging engineers across a wide variety of technologies to elicit and develop strategic patent portfolios, monitoring law firm compliance with patent program guidelines, and generating patent portfolio metrics for corporate presentations and public filings.

Job Requirements o Attorney candidates must possess a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and admission to and in good standing with a state bar, along with at least 0-3 years of relevant experience.
o Highly motivated and with the ability to work independently, to take initiative to address problems, and to make continuous process improvements.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment and the ability to instill confidence in clients and peers; excellent interpersonal skills.
