This Director is responsible for the successful day-to-day operation of activities related to Facilities and Real Estate at the Sector level, sets and drives strategy through his/her role, ensuring alignment with Sector long range plans, and is accountable for ensuring that overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards are met. Incumbent is accountable for results that significantly impact sector AOP & LRSP outcomes. The position directs an entire function, through several department managers and/or directors, where results and decisions impact an entire sector. Scope and complexity of responsibilities requires the integration of both facilities and real estate management related knowledge and experience. Position requires significant experience managing maintenance trades. Position requires the demonstrated ability to make decisions that are often made under conditions where there is little precedent. Judgment is guided by a broad framework of goals and strategies. Represents the sector as a prime internal & external contact on contracts and/or operations; has regular interaction with director & VP-level customer management; has critical influence over Sector business decisions. Ideal candidate will work out of our Melbourne, FL or Redondo Beach, CA office. Relocation will be considered.
