Piano Lessons for adults and/or Proficiency Exam Prep in Long Beach, California For Sale

I am an educator by profession and have played and taught piano for over 40 years, trained through the Sherwood School of Music in Chicago. I enjoy giving adults their start in the joy of playing the piano. We can progress as fast as you are willing to practice! I believe learning the piano should be enjoyable and affirming.
I teach lessons at my apartment in Downtown Long Beach and currently have openings on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. My emphasis is on classical music, but if you want to have a strong start on piano no matter what style you wish to learn, I can give you that firm foundation on the instrument. Adults begin piano study for a variety of reasons and goals. I respect your individual goals and will help you achieve them.
If you are facing the PIANO PROFICIENCY EXAM (at any local college or university), I can prepare you for it, at whatever skill level you are. When it comes close to test time and you obtain the actual pieces you are to perform, I will help you work through those as well. If you practice the work I give you between lessons, you will be prepared!
Tuition for lessons is $20 per half hour. I think you will find this compares well with other teacher rates!
The Passport buses A and D and buses 21, 21, 23, 71, 72 all stop close by. The Passport D will take you directly from CSULB to my door.
