Guitarist/Instrumentalist Mitchell Townsend is accepting new students for a limited time for guitar, bass, mandolin, and lap steel lessons anywhere in the Long Beach and Orange County areas. Learn from a seasoned musician with many years of experience playing on records and performing on stages with platinum-selling artists worldwide.
Beginners and all ages are welcome. Whether you wish to become an advanced player or simply want to learn songs and play for fun, you can learn in a laid-back, fun environment from a seasoned professional who has been playing guitar for 30 years.
Mitchell Townsend is a veteran studio and touring musician with extensive studio recording experience, having shared stages worldwide with artists such as Jack Johnson, Oasis, No Doubt, Weezer, Social Distortion, Death Cab For Cutie, Modest Mouse, Ryan Adams and more. He also writes music for film and television, including most recently the feature documentary film "Sound City" directed by Dave Grohl.
Lessons take place at your home. Currently serving the Orange County and Long Beach area, as well as select areas in Los Angeles and San Diego Counties. The rate is $60 for an hour, $30 for a half hour. Pay for a month of lessons in advance (one hour lesson per week) and the rate is discounted to $200 per month. Skype lessons are also available to any location on the planet. Skype lessons are paid for via Paypal and the same rates apply.
