CNC Cell Leader - Ultrasonic Core Cutting - Lake Forest, CA
Job Location: Job is in Lake Forest, CA
A CNC Cell Leader is required having 5 years machinist experience.
Qualifications Required:
• 5 years machinist experience required w/technical, trade or vocational schooling preferred
• Experience with Ultrasonic Core Cutting strongly desired
• Able to read electronic blueprints that deal with fabrication tolerances and parts.
• Evaluate product quality and make programming adjustments as needed for custom parts production
• Resourceful, reliable and independent
Job Responsibilities:
• Review blueprints and specifications for a job
• Calculate where to cut or bore
• Shape steel, aluminum, titanium and other materials
• Determine speed that material is fed into machine
• Select tools, process and parts for the job.
• Plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations
• Position work piece on drill press, lathe or milling machine
• Program machining center utilizing Siemens 840D software
• Set up, and operate 5 Axis CNC machines for the accurate machining of custom parts
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
• Determine fabrication tolerances
