Please request first-time sessions at least 5-7 business days in advance. Payment in advance required to confirm first-time booking.
All sessions must be confirmed by 48 hours in advance, or higher rates apply.

$35/hour recording/mixing time including engineer.
$250/8-hour day block rate (inc engineer) for band tracking sessions.
$50/hr or by project quote for music production/co-production
$50 / hr or $50 single song PMCD mastering.
$25/45min listening session - in-studio consultation + studio tour (no free tours)
D. M. Gremlin Studios is equipped to work with the pros, and we're equally pleased to introduce first-time studio artists to the magic of recording. Bands, songwriters, solo artists, acoustic, electric, electronic - recording and production services for all musical styles and spoken-word/voiceover recordings.
Studio owner and engineer/producer Wendy Levin began her career in the traditional studio environment, and has nearly 20 years of experience in analog and digital recording. She holds an extensive discography of album releases featuring world-class musicians, is a voting member of The Recording Academy (the Grammys), and is a past instructor at Hollywood's Recording Institute of Technology.
Clients of D. M. Gremlin Studios include SST Records (Greg Ginn of Black Flag fame), Long Beach Records, Bud Gaugh & Todd Forman (Sublime), Randy Bradbury (Pennywise), and countless independent bands and artists from Southern California, across the US, and Europe, Australia, and Japan.
** Studio is outfitted for full band/drum kit tracking, overdubs, vocals, voiceover, editing, mixing, mastering, and music production.
** 19' x 23' tracking room with separate control room and vocal booth
** High-end analog/digital recording: Neumann, AKG, MXL mics, Antelope Audio & Apogee A/D converters; Summit tube compression (outboard); Waves, UAD, SSL processors.
** Baldwin concert piano, house drum kit, and a selection of guitar and bass amplifiers are available for recording at no extra charge.
